Can you blame him? There are a lot of wrestling companies in the world but WWE fairly easily tops them all, at least when it comes to status. You can argue talent and ability and entertainment all you like, but WWE has been the king of the wrestling world for a long time now. That gives them a lot of power, and now they seem to be using that power against one of their wrestlers.
Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, WWE has not had a significant number of fans at any of its events since March 2020. There is no real way to have fans in the building safely at the moment so WWE has kept things empty. There are still crowd noises though, as WWE has been piping in canned audio. This has not gone well with some wrestlers, but one in particular may be in trouble as a result.
During the Raw Talk following Raw Legends, Mustafa Ali complained about legends getting too much television time. Soon after, Ali sent out a tweet suggesting WWE had told him he would not be allowed to have a live microphone anymore. In a Fightful.com Q&A session, Sean Ross Sapp said that Ali had gotten in trouble over mentioning piped in crowd noise. WWE does not want this brought up in public comments and Ali may be being punished as a result.

It set them off. Check out what started all of this:
Opinion: I really hope that this isn’t the case as it would be a ridiculous idea even for WWE. How in the world are fans not supposed to realize that the noise isn’t live? The lack of people in the building would suggest that to be the case, but it would be very WWE of them to think that this is some big secret. Ali is way too talented to get in trouble for something like this and hopefully there is more to this.
