The division grew .7 times that day! To say the women’s divisions aren’t the deepest is an understatement. Last night at “Survivor Series 2017”, most of the division was caught up in one single elimination match. This didn’t do much to hide how shallow the division really is and it was clear something needed to change. That change took place the next night.
Tonight on “Monday Night Raw”, Paige made her return from neck surgery and brought NXT’s Mandy Rose and Sonya DeVille with her. This is Paige’s first appearanice in over a year and the main roster debuts of Rose and DeVille. The three of them attacked Alexa Bliss, Bayley, Mickie James and Sasha Banks, the latter three of which were in the middle of a match.
Here’s Rose in action.
Ember Moon vs. Mandy Rose: WWE NXT, Sept. 28, 2016
Opinion: This is something that the division was dying for. You can only have five people of value (Dana Brooke hardly means anything) and call it a division. Rose and DeVille might not be the most polished workers in the but they’re people who can be thrown into matches before Paige gets the big fights. Good move here and a well done debut.
Which of these debuts means the most to you? Which of the three of them will have the brightest future? Let us know in the comments below.
