That’s a bad sign. There are very few things worse for a wrestler than an injury. You never know when they are going to strike and some of them are far worse than usual. They can come in or out of the ring and you never know how long someone might be on the shelf in recovery. It can be made even worse if someone is coming up on a major match and their time on the shelf could mess with the company’s plans. There is a major name currently scheduled for a big spot on an important card and they are now on the injured list.
According to PWInsider.com, former Ring of Honor World Champion Jay Lethal has broken his arm during a match against PCO in the United Kingdom. During the match, Lethal shifted his weight underneath PCO, who fell on him and broke the arm. Lethal is scheduled to fly back to the United States on Tuesday and see an orthopedist to see what can be done for the arm. Lethal is currently scheduled to team with Jonathan Gresham to challenge the Briscoes for the Ring of Honor Tag Team Titles at Final Battle, though it is currently not clear if he will be cleared in time.
Lethal has been around for a long time. Check out some of his great moments from the vault, including one against Tommaso Ciampa:
Opinion: That’s a rough one as there is no way to prepare for something like this. Lethal is one of the best things that Ring of Honor has at the moment, even if that may not be the longest list in the world at the moment. There are only so many more things that they can lose and having Lethal off of Final Battle, especially in a match that would have been one of the featured parts of the show, would be a huge blow to them. Ring of Honor is in a bad place at the moment and something like losing Lethal right before their biggest show of the year is only going to make things worse.

And one more thing. Just because it’s hilarious, check out Lethal vs. Ric Flair:
