Hang on a bit longer. An injury is one of the worst things that can happen to a wrestler as it can derail all of the momentum that they have going for them. That is awful to see and unfortunately there is no way to guarantee that they do not happen. Sometimes a wrestler can have a setback when they are almost completely healed from their injury, which seems to be the case again.
The biggest feud in NXT at the moment is the one between Kyle O’Reilly and Adam Cole. The former Undisputed Era teammates split up when Cole attacked O’Reilly at Takeover: Vengeance Day to end the team for good. Cole then made it worse by giving O’Reilly a brainbuster onto the ring steps, which injured O’Reilly’s neck. O’Reilly is back, but it might be a little longer before you see him in the ring again.
O’Reilly sent out a pair of tweets announcing that he has re-aggrivated his neck injury and will be out of action for another 2-3 weeks. The injury took place during this week’s NXT, when O’Reilly returned and attacked Cole after Cole’s match against Finn Balor. Should O’Reilly be healthy in the next three weeks, he will be back in the ring in time for Takeover: Stand And Deliver on April 8 and 9. O’Reilly’s last match took place on the February 17 edition of NXT.
I may have not been “medically cleared” and perhaps I “snuck into the building” but I’ll be damned if that didn’t feel “f’n great”. I’m willing to accept responsibility for my actions… something Adam Cole will never do. https://t.co/0uhSPeK9JC

Now I’m being told another 2-3 weeks added to my recovery time for re-aggravating my neck last night. How many weeks is that now? Weeks won’t keep me away from beating the sh*t out of that SOB

O’Reilly has a reason to be mad. Check out how he got banged up and then made it worse:
Opinion: This is pretty clearly a storyline so O’Reilly can return to the ring and take Cole’s head off at Takeover and that should make for a heck of a moment. O’Reilly has grown a lot from this story and it should be great to see him get his moment to shine. The neck injury makes enough sense and hopefully everything winds up working as well as it seems capable of doing.
