That’s a quick turnaround. One of the most interesting things about NXT is watching them restock the shelves in such a hurry. With so much talent being moved to the main roster, it’s necessary to have new names show up in NXT as fast as possible. One such name is Aleister Black, who hasn’t even debuted in NXT yet and is already doing something interesting.

According to 411mania.com, Black will be making his main roster debut at a house show in Lille, France on May 9 in a cruiserweight match against Neville and Austin Aries. This is a fairly common practice and DOES NOT mean Black is going to the main roster full time. Black, who wrestled on the independent circuit as Tommy End, has already made his WWE debut when he had a feature match at the WWE United Kingdom Championship event. He will make his televised NXT debut against Andrade Cien Almas at “Takeover: Orlando”.

Opinion: I’m not too familiar with Black’s work but he certainly fits the indy star build that NXT seems to specialize in anymore. He’ll be brought in and should do just fine down there before going to the main roster roughly a year later. There’s nothing wrong with giving him a few house show matches to get his feet wet and I’m sure he’ll be fine.

How do you think Black will do in NXT? Will he defeat Almas? Let us know in the comments below.
