Not Yet: Kevin Owens Reveals Great News About His Mother's Health

Hanging in there. Wrestlers have to deal with all kinds of problems that come with their careers. This can include finding the right character as a way to connect to the fans, staying in ring shape and more. That is not always the easiest balance to find and does not include everything taking place outside of the ring. Now though, one prominent WWE Superstar has some good news about his personal life.

Earlier this month, Kevin Owens announced that his mother was in the hospital with an undisclosed medical condition. Owens said that he was almost about to skip Money In The Bank to be at her bedside but opted to wrestle because she always told him to keep fighting. Owens has since posted an image to Twitter, showing his mother sitting up and holding a shirt saying Just Keep Fighting, with the caption saying “she kicked out”. There is no word on when Owens’ mother could leave the hospital.

Opinion: That is great to see and thankfully Owens’ mom seems to be at least taking a step in the right direction. It must be a great relief to Owens and his family, as it sounded like she was in a rather bad place just a few weeks ago. Owens is a big star in WWE, but this is the kind of thing that goes way beyond anything he is going to do in the ring. It might even make his wrestling work better, just due to the relief.
