Spots are at a premium. We are less than a month away from Summerslam and as you might guess, most of the card is either already set or all but officially announced. Getting onto the show is quite the accomplishment for a wrestler and WWE has plenty of stars available to make the show. However, not everyone is going to make it and now we know something about who might not.

Earlier this week, news broke about six matches that were likely for Summerslam, with more being announced throughout the week. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, there are currently eight matches announced on the internal lineup. However, there are currently no matches set for Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, Austin Theory or Edge. There is n word on how many total matches there will be, though Triple H reportedly prefers to have a smaller number of matches on the card than Vince McMahon.
Those are some big names to miss. Check out some of the missing stars:
Opinion: WWE is going to have to come up with a way to deal with this as those are some top names to not have around for a show this big. Summerslam is one of the biggest events of the year and it would be almost impossible to imagine the show taking place without some of those names. I’m sure WWE can come up with something, though they are running out of time before the show takes place on August 5.
