The boss is in trouble. There have been all kinds of people in positions of authority throughout wrestling’s history but no one has come close to Vince McMahon. While McMahon will soon be selling WWE to Endeavor, he will remain Executive Chairman, which has quite the power of its own. However, he might have another problem to deal with in the mean time.

This week, WWE announced is second quarter earnings from 2023. Also included in the release was the announcement that McMahon was served with a subpoena and search warrant on July 17, though no charges have been filed against him thus far. These were in relation to the investigation into accusations against McMahon for sexual misconduct. According to PWInsider.com, WWE issued a memo to all employees announcing the subpoena and search. McMahon is currently on medical leave following back surgery last month.

Opinion: I’m not sure where this is going to lead but it certainly doesn’t sound good for McMahon. The fact that no charges have been filed so far is a good sign for McMahon but there is every chance that it could change later on. Either way, McMahon is not exactly coming out of this looking great and that is not likely to improve any time in the near future.
