We’re halfway back to normal. As you may recall, the first Final Deletion was actually over the rights to the Hardy Brand. Due to losing the match to his brother Matt Hardy, Jeff Hardy was left with the name Brother Nero, with Matt referring to him as the obsolete mule, among various other names. However, things seem to have changed.

According to Matt on Twitter, Jeff has repaid his debts to Matt and can use his original name again. This was reenforced on this week’s “Impact Wrestling” as Jeff said he repaid his debt by winning the Tag Team Titles (which they won at October’s “Bound For Glory 2016” in the Great War). Matt seems to agree, meaning that Jeff can now go by his former name. There is no word on whether or not this means the team will be splitting or changing anytime soon.

Hopefully this is the beginning of the end of the Broken Hardys. I’m really not sure what there is left for them to do as they’ve already had two out of three shows dedicated to them. They’re the Tag Team Champions so the next step would be for them to lose the belts (though I have no idea to whom) and then move on to something else. If Jeff turning into his old self again is the first step, so be it.

Are you getting tired of the Broken Hardys? Who do you see taking the titles from them? Let us know in the comments below.
