Owens’ Crowd Insults Were So Good Roman Broke Character to Laugh

Oh, this is just delightful. A recent Brooklyn house show saw a match between Roman Reigns and Kevin Owens, and the Universal Champion made some magic that was caught on camera.

Owens was trading insults with a member of the crowd, as a top heel is wont to do. All the while, he held Roman in a trademark headlock–he is the headlock master, after all.

“I made more money this week than you made all year!” Owens shouted. “All year! I got 35k just in royalties!”

At some point Roman, still trapped in the headlock, starts to crack a smile. A big one. And he can’t stop. His only recourse to avoid breaking character is to throw his hands up over his mouth.

It’s adorable.
