Who is Next for Miz and the Intercontinental Title?

This took a sudden turn. After defeating the Miz last week at “Tribute to the Troops 2016”, Apollo Crews received an Intercontinental Title shot on “Smackdown Live”. Miz retained the title due to a thumb to the eye and a Skull Crushing Finale, but the interesting part took place after the match.

Following his win, Renee Young came into the ring to interview the Miz about his issues with Dean Ambrose. Miz thought it was Young who had an obsession with Ambrose and said, and I quote, “After all, you’re the one sleeping with him.” Young slapped him in the face and walked away, which is likely helping to set up another match between Ambrose and Miz in the near future.

This is interesting as Young and Ambrose’s very real life relationship has only been mentioned on “Total Divas”. It’s not like it’s a secret but I like the idea of Young getting all upset about her personal life being discussed on national TV. She’s always been presented as a serious reporter and wouldn’t be fine with this information being shared like Nikki Bella about her relationship with John Cena.
