I’d assume it has to do with breaking something. Matt and Jeff Hardy have become two of the most interesting and intriguing cases in wrestling over the last few months. With the rise of their Broken Universe and the Broken Hardys characters, they’ve recently been signed to Ring of Honor and might be heading to WWE soon. That leaves one major question: what was next if they stayed in TNA?

As you’ve probably heard, the Hardys won the ROH Tag Team Titles from the Young Bucks at “Manhattan Mayhem”. It turns out there was to be more of the story. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter by way of 411mania.com, the Young Bucks were supposed to show up in TNA in April, leading to a match in TNA and even a match at the Hardy Compound. Obviously this has now been completely stopped.

Opinion: I’m not a big fan of the Young Bucks but this would have been the logical payoff. While the Hardys were being advertised to come to Ring of Honor, it felt like TNA was really getting the short end of the stick. This makes a lot more sense, but now it really does look like they never got anything out of the Hardys appearing for ROH while still working for TNA.

Would the Bucks have won the TNA Tag Team Titles? Where do you see the Hardys winding up? Let us know in the comments below.
