We have our first casualty. One of the top wrestling stories of the last week has been the Paige sex tape and the ensuing fallout. While it seems that Paige and Xavier Woods are going to escape punishment, there is another person who is undergoing a bit of a change as a result of the tape’s leak.

According to Prowrestlingsheet.com, Alberto El Patron has pulled out of this year’s Wrestlecon convention, citing the recent tape’s release. Prime Time Appearances, the company that booked El Patron for the appearance, put out a Tweet announcing that he wouldn’t be appearing.

Wrestlecon is scheduled to begin next Friday and will have over two hundred guests over the span of two days.

Opinion: I can’t say I’m surprised here as we haven’t really heard from El Patron during this whole thing. Would you want to have hundreds of people come up to you over two days and potentially talk to you about watching your fiance having sex with two wrestlers? It’s a very personal issue and I can’t blame him a bit.

Are you surprised El Patron canceled his appearance? Should Paige be punished? Let us know in the comments below.
