A slight delay. There are several ways for a wrestler to get ready for their career and one of the most common ways is for a wrestler to come from a wrestling family. Having a parent or family member in wrestling can be a huge foot in the door for someone else. That has been the case for several WWE stars and now it might be time for another to start up with the company rather soon.

In recent weeks, news has circulated that Brian Pillman Jr. is expected to sign with WWE, with Pillman Jr. rumored to have been at this week’s NXT. However, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Pillman Jr. has not been signed with WWE. Pillman Jr. is reportedly waiting on his medical evaluations to come back before he will sign. This comes after Pillman Jr.’s AEW contract expired earlier this year.

Opinion: Pillman Jr. signing with WWE is something that would make a lot of sense as he is a young, talented star who could be something in WWE. What he needs is more time and coaching, which is something he could get in NXT. He already did some good stuff in AEW but that might have been a bit too high of a level for him to start. Let him see what he can do elsewhere, as it could be quite the upgrade.
