Recognize them? There are all kinds of things that need to come together to make a wrestler work. One of the most important is the character that that they are portraying, as having the wrong gimmick can do a lot of damage to a wrestler’s career. It seems that two WWE Superstars might have undergone a gimmick change, at least based on their actions in a backstage segment.

This week on SmackDown, General Manager Nick Aldis ran into Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn, collectively known as the Unholy Union, backstage. The two spoke to him rapidly before he left without responding to them. Fyre and Dawn showed no signs of their previous supernatural or witchcraft gimmicks, suggesting that they might be undergoing a change. The two last teamed together on the January 19 SmackDown.

Opinion: At the end of the day, it’s not like Fyre and Dawn were doing well with what they were doing so maybe this is the kind of switch that they need. It has never been their talent so hopefully this gives them a chance. At the end of the day, the women’s tag team division desperately needs some depth so why not let the two of them be added to the mix with a fresh style?
