Speak Man: The Rock Reveals What He Said To Cody Rhodes On Monday Night Raw

He did what he promised. Over the last few months, the Rock has been more active in WWE than he has been at any point in the last several years. This includes a feud with Cody Rhodes, which is leading to a tag match on Night One of WrestleMania 40. The Rock attacked Rhodes earlier this week on Monday Night Raw and now we know something else about the night.

This week’s Monday Night Raw opened with Rhodes cutting an in-ring promo when he was interrupted by the Rock. While the Rock did not say anything the audience could hear, he did whisper something to Rhodes, who was left looking confused. Later in the show, Rock attacked Rhodes and left him bleeding outside of the arena. In a post on Instagram, Rock has since revealed that he said “tonight, I’m gonna make you bleed”. Rock and Roman Reigns are set to team against Rhodes and Seth Rollins on Night One of WrestleMania 40 on April 6.

Opinion: While some people could read Rock’s lips as he spoke, there are several people who had no idea what was going on during the segment, which makes this all the more impressive. Even if you did figure it out though, there is something to be said about Rock calling his shot and then making it work. The whole thing worked and added a lot of heat to what we will be seeing at WrestleMania.
