The end of the end. Tommy End is one of the bigger NXT signings of 2016 and while he has a great ring name already, you knew NXT was going to change it up to something they could trademark. Unfortunately this could wind up being somehting horrible as their name machine has come up with things like Oney Lorcan. This time though they might have something a bit better.

As announced at tonight’s “NXT” house show in Ocala, Florida and confirmed on Twitter, End will now be known as Allister Black (though the spelling may be off on the first name). At the show, Black faced Elias Samson in his fifth match for the NXT brand. Black’s debut for the promotion took place back in November under the Tommy End moniker. Black signed with WWE back in October, along with three other names.

For once, I actually like this name. So many times we get something like Kassius Ohno or some other nonsense but this is pretty good for a change. Black is going to be someone who can make an impact as soon as he debuts from his look alone. I’m curious to see who he’s paired with early on and hopefully his in ring work can back up the hype. At least he has a good name to go with the look.

What are you thoughts on Black? Do you like the new name? Let us know in the comments below.
