Sign it up. We’re coming up on “Backlash 2017” and while most of the card was already set, it turned out that one of the matches that you would have thought was already locked in wasn’t official just yet. That problem was fixed tonight as another match was signed up for Sunday’s pay per view.
This week on “Smackdown Live”, Sami Zayn announced that he would officially be facing Baron Corbin at Sunday’s show. The feud has been built up over the last few weeks, mainly over Corbin attacking Zayn from behind on multiple occasions. Tonight, Zayn accused Corbin of being scared of him and got jumped again.
Opinion: I really thought this one was already set up but it’s nice to have things official. There’s nothing wrong with a midcard match like this and either of them would benefit from a win over the other. Corbin could be a challenger for the title down the line and Zayn is always in need of a win to make him look more important before he’s beaten again.
