One more, for feeling. With less than three days before “Takeover: Chicago”, we had a five match card, which is the normal amount for one of the specials. However, there was a lot of talent who wasn’t booked for the show yet, which is kind of odd for NXT. Two of those names were fixed on this week’s show though as a new match was added.
This week on “NXT”, Roderick Strong vs. Eric Young was announced for Saturday’s show. Last week Strong lost to Hideo Itami in a #1 contenders match but was attacked after the show by Sanity. Strong demanded that General Manager William Regal give him a match with any member of the team and Regal gave him the leader.

Opinion: I was hoping for a way to get these two plus Kassius Ohno and Drew McIntyre on the card so two out of four is certainly acceptable. This is a continuation of the previous Takeover’s story as Strong helped fight Sanity so there’s already a backstory set up. I’m not sure how much time the match will get but it’s certainly better than having both guys miss the show.
