Last night on “205 Live,” Mustafa Ali was the victim of a vicious attack by Drew Gulak as he was coming to the ring to face the “Premiere Athlete” Tony Nese. According to a report from WWE.com:

WWE.com has learned that Mustafa Ali was knocked unconscious following an attack by Drew Gulak and Tony Nese on WWE 205 Live. Ali was evaluated by WWE medical personnel before being transported to a local medical facility.

The company posted the following statement on their official Instagram account earlier today:

No further updates are known at this time.

Gulak would also continue his “No Fly Zone” campaign, holding up a sign with that phrase after the attack.

Editor’s Note:

Mustafa Ali has been incredibly entertaining as of late. I think that he has a good skill set in the ring, is very fluid, and has a character that could connect with many fans. However, “205 Live” is still not receiving the attention that it should be, so I don’t feel that many people are appreciating how great these competitors really are.
