She did well. The Royal Rumble has come and gone and as usual, there were quite a few surprise entrants in the show’s namesake matches. Those matches are the main focus of the show and it can mean a lot for a wrestler to have a spot in one of them. That is certainly the case for someone from outside of WWE and that was the situation again this year in a big way.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT BREAKING: CM Punk Reportedly Suffered Serious Injury At Royal Rumble
One of the surprise entrants in the Women’s Royal Rumble was reigning TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace. According to PWInsider.com, WWE asked TNA if they could use Grace, with Triple H wanting to present someone “outside of the box”. There was reportedly no TNA official backstage at the Royal Rumble. Grace is said to have blown away quite a few people with her performance. This is the second time that the reigning Knockouts Champion participated in the Royal Rumble, following Mickie James in 2022.
Grace is a star. Check out her time in the Royal Rumble and in TNA:
Opinion: I don’t think it’s much of a surprise that Grace was a smash in the Rumble. She looked like a star and then came off like one in the ring, which is an impressive combination. At the same time, it was a surprise to see someone from outside of the company coming in like that and it worked out very well. It wouldn’t shock me at all to see WWE go after her when she is a free agent and it very well could work.
What do you think of Grace? How would she do full time in WWE? Let us know in the comments below.
