WATCH: Former NXT Champion Says He’s Now On The Main Roster, Teases First Target

Come on up? There are some incredibly talented stars in NXT and it can be a complete career making moment when one of them is able to be called up to the main roster. One of the most common places that you will see someone move on up is the Royal Rumble. That was the case again this year, as a former NXT Champion is saying that he has officially made the move up.

Former NXT Champion Bron Breakker made a surprise appearance in this year’s men’s Royal Rumble match and eliminated four wrestlers before being eliminated by Dominik Mysterio. In an interview after the match, Breakker said that the main roster was now his home and that he was ready for the work. While not confirmed, Breakker said he might be coming for Judgment Day, suggesting he will be coming to Monday Night Raw. Breakker is currently still an active entrant in the NXT Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic, teaming with Baron Corbin in the finals at next week’s Vengeance Day.

Opinion: This is something that has been all but set up for several months now and it seems to finally be happening. Breakker has done pretty much everything he can in NXT and got a lot better with his heel run in recent months. That makes him all the more ready for the next level and we should be in for a heck of a run with someone as strong and talented as Breakker.
