Is that worth the headaches? Over the last few days, the biggest story in wrestling, as well as the rest of the world, has been the situation in Saudi Arabia. This is more complicated for WWE, who will be running their Crown Jewel event there in less than two weeks. The main argument that you’ll hear is that it’s just too much money for WWE, but how much do they make per show?

According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, WWE is only expected to make about $2 or $3 million profit from the show rather then the nearly $40 million that had been rumored. The contract will likely bring the company more money in the future, but at the moment their profits aren’t incredibly high. Meltzer went on to say that Vince McMahon doesn’t care about the situation and would rather do anything other than back out of the deal.

Here’s a totally realistic preview of the show.

Baron Corbin's 10-Man Global Battle Royal: Raw, Oct. 8, 2018

Opinion: At what point will WWE realize that this just isn’t worth it? The fans don’t seem thrilled with the show, the show itself isn’t all that important in the grand scheme of things, and people/companies outside of the company aren’t going to look at WWE positively as a result. I can understand why WWE doesn’t want to back away from that kind of money, but egads they’re sacrificing a lot to get there.

Do you think the money is worth everything that comes with it? Will the show go forward? Let us know in the comments below.
