Moving On. John Cena And New Girlfriend Make Red Carpet Premiere And Seem Rather Happy Together.

That’s what a star does. John Cena is one of the biggest stars in WWE in of the most recent generation and that has opened up a bunch of doors for him in Hollywood. Cena is making the most of them as well as his acting career picks up a little steam here and a little steam there, all of which has resulted in him becoming a bigger movie star. This includes a few starring roles for Cena and with that comes a higher celebrity status. He got to show that off, plus something else, over the weekend.

Cena appeared on the red carpet for the premiere of his new movie Playing With Fire in New York City on Saturday. During the event, Cena was accompanied by girlfriend Shay Shariatzadeh, marking one of their very first public appearances together. The two have been together since earlier this spring and their relationship comes on the heels of Cena breaking up with Nikki Bella last year. Shariatzadeh has been seen with Cena before and even attended Monday Night Raw with him earlier this year.

Wrestling fans were certainly chatty about the appearance, mainly involving Bella:

Otherwise, what drove Nikki away will most likely drive her away too.

Opinion: This is one of those things that is going to happen as people move on from previous relationships. If nothing else it is almost fascinating to see how many fans instantly want to downgrade Shariatzadeh when comparing her to Bella, which if nothing else shows just how many fans Bella has. The whole situation with Cena and Bella was a mess and I’m not sure what to make of the whole thing, but at least they both seem to have moved on to happiness, which is all that matters at the end of the day. And maybe the movie will do well too.
