Maybe it isn’t that bad? 205 Live is one of the most interesting stories in wrestling though not for the most positive reasons. WWE has left the wrestlers and the show in general out there to die with a series of horrible time slots where fans do not want to see the show. Things have been getting worse instead of getting better, with some episodes of the show just being canceled. The latest may not have been for such a bad reason.
This week’s edition of 205 Live did not take place, with an announcement being made just hours before SmackDown went on the air. According to Ryan Satin, the show did not take place because because of the big angle at the end of SmackDown with Shawn Michaels, Triple H and Road Dogg appearing and setting off a huge three way brawl. This does not mean that the future of 205 Live is in jeopardy and the show is scheduled to be back next week.
In case it’s not evident at this point, sources implied to me earlier today that 205 Live was cancelled tonight due to the big end of show angle with DX leading an NXT invasion on SmackDown — not the show being in jeopardy of getting cancelled permanently.

It was a huge deal. Check out what happened and the cool post show event:
Opinion: I have no idea if 205 Live is going to be around that much longer but seeing how the crowds have been going (or have been in this case), it does not look great. At the end of the day, it should be clear that things are not working and that WWE needs to do something different. Maybe it is to incorporate the show into NXT or just cancel it altogether, but this is not working and that is very clear.
