Earlier this week, WWE Hall Of Famer Hacksaw Jim Duggan’s wife Debra announced that Jim was hospitalized and underwent emergency surgery. Jim has now offered an update on the situation, revealing that he was suffering from an abscess which caused his white blood cell count to nearly reach sepsis. The surgery was designed to drain the abscess and it was successful. Jim, 69 years old, has since been released from the hospital and been cleared to fly.
Thank you to the @GlensFallsHosp, The Glens Falls Fire Department, The Glens Falls Nation Fund, and all of my fans and friends for their prayers and support!

Opinion: That’s great to hear, as you never want to see anyone, whether a wrestling legend or not, dealing with something like this. Jim was lucky to be able to get the help that he needed and it seems to have done the trick. Hopefully he does not have to deal with something like this again, as he has had more than his share of health issues over the years now.
What was the best part of Jim’s career? How could he have been a bigger star in WWE? Let us know in the comments below.
