Consider these early Christmas presents. This week’s Monday Night Raw was supposed to signal a change of pace for the show. After the last few weeks didn’t work so well, Vince McMahon and company announced a new direction for the show. While these this included some new names appearing, one of the bigger changes was announcing things in advance for next week, including several matches.
At the end of this week’s edition of Monday Night Raw, four matches were announced in advance for next week’s show. These include Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey defending against Natalya, Baron Corbin vs. Seth Rollins, Finn Balor vs. Drew McIntyre vs. Dolph Ziggler in a triple threat match and Elias vs. Baron Corbin in a Miracle on 34th Street Fight. The show will be taped after tonight’s Monday Night Raw.
One of those matches had a heck of a build. See how Natalya earned her shot at Rousey next week:
Opinion: I don’t know if this is something that is going to continue or not as the matches can be set in advance because the show is taking place later in the night, but at the same time I’ll take what I can get. There are some interesting matches on the show and that’s about as good of an idea as you can have for a show on a major holiday like next week’s. Hopefully people actually watch, but it could be a rough night.
