They’re not done yet. Back in 2016, Sasha Banks and Charlotte main evented Hell in a Cell, marking the first time that two women headlined a pay per view. While that was certainly a huge idea at the time, it has since happened so many times that it almost doesn’t even feel special anymore. It was the case again this year at Tables, Ladders and Chairs, and there was a lot going on. But what happened next?

WWE has posted a video looking at what happened after the pay per view went off the air. The main event saw Ronda Rousey cost SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch and challenger Charlotte the title, with Asuka walking out as champion. In theory, this will be used to set up some bigger matches down the line. After the show was over, Asuka left Charlotte and Lynch in the arena, which is where the video picks up.

There’s some more emotion in there. Here’s what happened after the show went off the air:

Opinion: I don’t think it’s any secret that the ending of the show was designed to set up at least one major future match, if not multiple future matches. There’s a real chance that it could be there to set up a triple threat match between the three of them that could headline WrestleMania 35, which wouldn’t be the worst idea in the world. After the way the women have been treated, it would almost feel wrong for them not to be the main event.
