He’s gone. There have been a lot of changes in WWE in recent weeks as the company is now under the control of Endeavor and is being merged together with UFC under the TKO banner. According to PWInsider.com, longtime WWE employee Rich Hering has left WWE, following a 50+ year career with the company. Hering was Senior Vice President of Government Relations and Risk Management and received the WWE’s Warrior Award at the 2021 Hall Of Fame ceremony. Hering is said to have left the company on his own, with no influence from Endeavor and he was not let go.

Opinion: It is nice to see Hering getting to leave on his own terms as a lot of people do not have that kind of luxury. Things have been changing rather quickly in WWE as of late and it would have been rough to see someone leave the company after that kind of a career. Hering has been around probably as long as almost any employee in WWE history and that is quite the accomplishment to come to an end.
