There’s one more. With less than five days to go until WrestleMania 35, the card is almost as full as you can imagine. Well in theory at least as the show has been added to almost every single week now and there is no reason that the last week before the show should be any different. There were two titles not on the line yet and now at least one of those are on the line.
This week on SmackDown Live, WrestleMania 35 host Alexa Bliss announced that the Usos will be defending the SmackDown Tag Team Titles against Rusev and Shinsuke Nakamura, the Bar and Ricochet and Aleister Black in a four way at WrestleMania 35. The match was made in responds to the Usos forfeiting their match against the New Day in last week’s tag team gauntlet match.
It was a very cool moment. Check out what set up the four way:
Opinion: This isn’t exactly surprising, but the problem is that it came after the teams fought in an eight man tag. The Usos pinned Rusev and Nakamura, making me wonder why the team who took the fall belong in a title match at WrestleMania. Doesn’t that kind of defeat the point of having a match in the first place? Also, why does being host give you matchmaking authority?
