Kurt Angle Says This Wrestler is the Best Ever

That’s an interesting choice. Since debuting back in 1999, Kurt Angle has wrestled against someone of the best of all time. Having had a long run in both WWE and TNA, Angle is one of the few modern wrestlers who can talk with authority about the rosters of both companies. This made a recent statement rather interesting.

Via his Instagram, Angle posted a picture of himself with Sting, which he captioned “with the greatest of all time”. Angle and Sting wrestled multiple times in TNA, including trading the NWA World Heavyweight Title as well as winning the NWA World Tag Team Titles together on one occasion. Angle was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame earlier this year.

Opinion: That’s kind of a surprising pick but it’s always interesting to hear from someone who has been in the ring with so many of the greats. Sting certainly is one of the best of all time but I’m a bit surprised that Angle calls him the absolute greatest of all time. They certainly had some amazing matches though and both were highlights of TNA.
