Vince McMahon named Kurt Angle as the new general manager of Monday Night Raw earlier this week, which is something that pretty much everyone saw coming. However, one thing that we don’t know for sure is if our Olympic Hero will ever wrestle under the WWE banner again.

On Friday’s Talk is Jericho, Angle talked about whether or not he thinks WWE will allow him to wrestle again.

“Right now [WWE] hasn’t talked to me about wrestling. I did hint to Hunter, I said ‘I am gonna wrestle, right?’ He was like ‘well we’re just gonna do the Hall of Fame, after that we’re gonna talk about it.’ And I understand. I think they wanna see how I do. They wanna study me, they wanna make sure that I am who I say I am, that I’ve been clean for four years, and that I’m on my road to recovery. I do have to take the physical, and I’m sure that’s gonna come down the road, but they haven’t talked to me about it.”

Even though WWE fans would probably rather see Angle wrestle someone other than Triple H, that does seem like an obvious match up for next year’s WrestleMania.
