More like Mundo Force Wrestling. Global Force Wrestling has recently turned up the jets in an attempt to become a much bigger deal in the wrestling world. That includes signing new talent, including names from Japan and Mexico, but now they might have picked up one of the biggest free agent American names.
Raw: John Morrison practices parkour, the art of movement
According to Wrestlinginc.com, John Hennigan (Johnny Mundo/John Morrison) will be making his Global Force Wrestling debut at the company’s upcoming house show tour of the New York area. There is no word on if Hennigan will be making any televised appearances, though there is a strong chance that his Lucha Underground contract would prevent him from doing so. Hennigan is currently the AAA Mega, Latin America and Cruiserweight Champion.
Opinion: If this is the kind of thing that Global Force Wrestling can do going forward, they might be getting somewhere. Hennigan is one of the bigger names not signed to one of the two major American promotions and it looks like quite the coup for the company to sign him. Now, as usual, go somewhere with this and have it mean something.
