The best for the best. Gail Kim is easily the most decorated Knockout in Global Force Wrestling history and the only female member of its Hall of Fame. However, she has also announced that she will be retiring from the ring at the end of the year. That doesn’t mean the end of her time with the company though.

According to Wrestlinginc.com, Global Force Wrestling held a conference call earlier this week where Kim’s future role with the company was announced. During the call, Jeremy Borash announced that Kim will be moving to the backstage area and helping to run and train the Knockouts division. There is no word on when she will be starting in the new role.

Gail Kim Sets Timeline for her Retirement From Competition | #IMPACTICYMI July 13th, 2017

Opinion: This is the most logical move that the company could go with. Kim is still relatively young (she’s forty years old) and easily one of the most skilled performers in the world. Couple that with a ton of experience and she would be one of the best options for the trainer’s job. Hopefully she can pass on a lot of her skills and talents as she certainly has a lot to offer.
