It’s what Cena does. You might have heard about the spread of the Coronavirus and all of the bad things that it brings. One of the more commonly heard terms at the moment has been social distancing, which involves staying apart from other people, almost no matter what. That can make some things rather difficult, but it is something that some people are willing to break for the right reason.
John Cena is known for a lot of things, with his charity work being near the top of the list. Cena has shattered the record for most Make-A-Wish requests granted and is miles ahead of anyone else. He has been known for doing almost anything charity related and that is the case again this time, though it might have involved breaking some previously non-existent rules.
WFLA (NBC Tampa, Florida affiliate) reports that Cena visited seven year old David Castle in Odessa, Florida. Castle is suffering from a condition called Wilms tumor, which started in his kidneys and has spread throughout his body. Cena brought Castle several signed items, including title belts, shirts and armbands, among other things. Castle’s mother said that David cried when he saw Cena.
The family has a GoFundMe page to help with medical expenses. You can check that out and possibly donate right here.
Cena has done some amazing charity work. Check out some of his efforts:
Opinion: I know Cena might not be the most popular wrestler in the world, but there is no one with anywhere near the amount of charity work that he has done. It’s something amazing that he has done over the years and it doesn’t seem to be changing now that he is out of WWE for the most part. This is amazing to see and I can’t imagine what it means to Castle and his family.
