Who Isn’t It: Several Details On AEW’s Devil And Masked Attackers

Who done it? There are all kinds of storylines that have been used throughout the years and some of them are regularly used to this day. It can be a big deal when one of them comes back, especially when a big reveal is involved. That is something being done again, and now we know a bit more about who is involved, or in this case, who is not involved going forward.

In recent weeks, a person in a devil mask has been appearing in AEW while other masked people have attacked various wrestlers. This has led to speculation about their identities, none of which have been revealed. According to Fightful Select, despite his teasing, CM Punk is not the Devil. In addition, Fightful is reporting that the people who are currently behind the masks will be playing them in the future. Finally, Britt Baker is not the Devil either.

Opinion: There is something fun about a good masked person angle and AEW is doing that again here. What matters here is having a strong reveal and I’m curious to see how it is going to go in the end. With so many options of people under the mask, we could be in for something interesting. If AEW can get the ending right, they could be in for quite the big upgrade and that is a nice thing to see.
