The power display. Every now and then you see some kind of athletic marvel who leaves you wondering what you are seeing. That is the sort of special moment that can make things a lot of fun in a hurry on a wrestling show and WWE is getting to showcase someone like that right now. It was on display during this week’s Monday Night Raw and now we know why he did something in particular.

This week’s edition of Monday Night Raw was certainly a unique one as there were several names missing due to what seems to be a Coronavirus outbreak. As a result, WWE had a bunch of wrestlers in the ring more than once over the course of the night. One of them did something you don’t see very often and it seems that WWE had a bit of an ulterior motive behind what he did.

During a tag match this week on Monday Night Raw, Keith lee whipped John Morrison into the corner so hard that the ropes broke. According to Wrestling Observer Radio, this was done for the sake of creating some drama before the show went to a commercial. This week’s show was up against the college football National Championship game, meaning WWE needed something to draw in some extra attention.

It was a rather hard hitting match. Check out how it went down:

Opinion: I’m not sure how much interest there was going to be from having Lee break the corner, but at least they were trying something different for a change. WWE has a bad habit of getting stuck in a rut and that has been the case for far too long as of late. Lee getting to showcase his unique talents may be a way to help things out a bit, but it doesn’t matter if you only showcase it every once in awhile.
