What’s he gonna do? Next Friday, WWE is scheduled to present its Crown Jewel event, which, at least at the moment, is taking place in Saudi Arabia. The road to the show has been a mess with a variety of criticisms about WWE running the show and rumors of big names not even wanting to appear. The solution? Maybe we should throw another wild card in there as well.
In an interview with the Orlando Sentinel, Hulk Hogan spoke about going to Saudi Arabia with the WWE and mentioned making an appearance at WrestleMania. Hogan did not specifically mention Crown Jewel by name. Earlier this year, Hogan was reinstated by WWE after a lengthy absence due to his issues with racial statements but he has yet to appear on TV. There has been no mention of Hogan appearing at the show on WWE television with less than two weeks to go before the event.
A slightly less complicated foreign excursion.
Opinion: This show is already a circus and I’m really not sure that Hogan being there is going to be the best idea in the world. WWE has yet to actually say this is happening, but there is always the chance that this is just going to be something else that fans can talk about on the show. I don’t really need Hogan there, but it wouldn’t really shock me if he was making all of this up for some attention.
