Come together. While it might not have the same popularity that it once held, there is little way to deny that WWE is by far the biggest wrestling promotion in the world today. That has been the case for a very long time now, but they are not the only major American company any longer. AEW has moved up rather nicely and now they are going to get another shot in the arm.

One of the biggest assets that AEW has going for it is its talent roster. The company has a great balance of multiple stars from different backgrounds with and different styles, making it one of the most well balanced rosters around. That allows them several different options to present at any given time, and now they are going to have even more choices to pick from going forward.

According to Wrestling Observer Radio, AEW and New Japan Pro Wrestling now have a working relationship which will see wrestlers from both companies appear on the other show. This comes after Kenta made a surprise appearance at the end of this week’s AEW Dynamite. There is no word on who will be making appearances in the other company, though the Coronavirus could complicate the situation. AEW had been wanting to make such a deal since their inception but had to prove themselves to New Japan first.

It was a shock. Check out how Kenta’s appearance went:

Opinion: This is something that I think was expected for a long time now as several AEW wrestlers have been big stars with New Japan before and the company’s big story revolves around the Bullet Club. It could help both companies a lot going forward and if that is the case then everyone benefits. I’m not sure if this is going to be a big move forward for everyone, but it is rather exciting and opens up several different doors.
