You have to try something else. The last few weeks has seen a whirlwind of changes in Impact Wrestling due to a variety of issues. The biggest of them all has been in the main event scene, where two of the five members of the Slammiversary main event are suddenly gone from the company, including the reigning World Champion. Things had to be changed and now we know where that is going.
Last week, Impact Wrestling released both Michael Elgin and reigning World Champion Tessa Blanchard. This left the Slammiversary main event with only three of the five scheduled entrants, meaning that something had to be changed. Due to the company’s taping schedule, the news could not be immediately announced on television. Some time has passed now though and now we have a new main event.
During this week’s Impact Wrestling, a new main event was announced for Slammiversary. The show will now feature a fatal four way main event, with the three previous entrants, meaning Trey, Eddie Edwards and Ace Austin and a mystery fourth entrant. This comes after Impact Wrestling has teased a recently released WWE star returning to the company, though it is not clear if this will be the match’s fourth entrant.
That’s a big way to go. Check out the three entrants in action:

Opinion: I don’t think there is any real secret that someone from WWE will be joining the match and that is all well and good. However, based on how things have gone in recent weeks, I wouldn’t mind seeing Madman Fulton getting the spot. He has beaten Trey and Edwards in back weeks and seems to be a logical pick, though the alliance with Austin would unfortunately be holding it back. Still though, it’s certainly an intriguing situation.
Who do you think the entrant will be? Who do you want it to be? Let us know in the comments below.
