The best in months. Last week’s episode of “Impact Wrestling” saw a new regime taking the reins and things kicked off with a bang. Austin Aries won the Impact Wrestling World Title in an impromptu match and things seem to be shaking up. The question though is where do things go from here, as the company has had issues maintaining an audience in the past.

According to 411mania.com, this week’s episode of “Impact Wrestling” drew a .08 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 294,000 viewers. These numbers are up 14% and down 8% respectively from last week’s .07 rating and 319,000 viewers. The rating is the highest since July 13 and the best of the year so far.

Opinion: The shows might not have been lighting the world on fire since the new regime took over but they’ve been doing better in a lot of areas. Above all else, the show seems to have settled down a bit now and that’s a very good sign going forward. If that keeps up, things should start moving in the right direction.
