More of the same. Over the last few weeks, “Smackdown Live” hasn’t been the strongest in the world. They won the men’s Royal Rumble match but that’s really about all they have going on. The passive aggressive Daniel Bryan vs. Shane McMahon feud continues and we’re still over two months away from AJ Styles vs. Shinsuke Nakamura at “Wrestlemania XXXIV”. So how is their TV doing?

According to 411mania.com, this week’s episode of “Smackdown Live” drew a .75 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 2.505 million viewers. These numbers are down 1% and less than 1% from last week’s .76 rating and 2.509 rating. This week’s show was headlined by Kevin Owens vs. Sami Zayn in a #1 contenders match.

Opinion: It’s not a good sign when the shows are staying about the same as those numbers aren’t the strongest in the first place. That being said, it’s another case of “Why should I watch this?”. The “Smackdown Live” World Title match is already set for “Wrestlemania XXXIV” and this Bryan vs. McMahon hasn’t been interesting in a long time now. Why would people be watching it?
