I’ll Take It: New Feud Starts Up On Monday Night Raw With A First Time Ever Match Already Set

It’s a new one on me. One of the most important things in wrestling is to keep things fresh. If you are going to do the same things over and over again, there is only so much to be gotten from everything. At some point you need to do something new and if that doesn’t happen, the promotion can fall apart. WWE is trying something new and it has some serious potential.

If there is one thing that WWE loves doing, it’s bragging about doing things they have never done before. How many times have you heard WWE use some form of the phrase “for the first time ever” to describe something that they are doing? It can get to be a bit much in a hurry, but there are times when the description gets you interested about something. That might be the case this time around.

During this week’s Monday Night Raw, the OC attacked Aleister Black backstage. Black went on to defeat Erick Rowan in his scheduled match, but after he challenged Styles for next week. The match was made later in the night and will take place on the March 2 edition of Monday Night Raw. This will be the first time that the two of them have ever had a singles match anywhere.

Opinion: Works for me. Styles is one of those people who can’t have a bad match against anyone and Black has been waiting for his big breakout match. After facing lower level talent for so long, it makes sense to put him out there with a big name who can almost guarantee a good performance. That’s what Styles can offer and we could be in for something special with this one.
