Hulk Hogan Possibly Returning to WWE For Wrestlemania XXXIII

Hopefully this wasn’t supposed to be a surprise. TMZ has posted a new video of Hulk Hogan’s daughter Brooke, who says that Hogan has been in contact for a return at “Wrestlemania XXXIII”. Brooke says that people have been talking to him for the show and while she doesn’t specifically say WWE, that would be a safe assumption.
Hogan hasn’t been seen in WWE since a video was released showing Hogan making several racist remarks. The video sparked a lawsuit with Gawker (the site that posted the video) which was recently settled with Hogan receiving $31 million. If the return is true, it’s likely connected to the suit being settled.
This feels like a case where time heals all wounds. Hogan said some horrible things in the video but he also didn’t break any laws and was basically just sounding like an insensitive jerk. Wrestling fans can be very forgiving people and it really wouldn’t surprise me to see Hogan appearing at “Wrestlemania XXXIII” to thunderous applause. He’s still one of the biggest stars of all time and when he turns on the charisma, it’s hard to not at least smile a little bit.
