The more things change. We are less than three weeks away from WrestleMania 37 and that means things are going to start getting interesting in a hurry. We already have a good chunk of the show ready but there are still a few adjustments that need to be made. This includes some changes to the matches that have already been made, which seems to be the case with a major match.
This weekend’s Fastlane was the final pay per view before we hit WrestleMania and that means it was time for the last big push towards the show. Several of the people involved in the card already have WrestleMania matches set but that does not mean things are set in stone. Some things happened in the main event that seem like they are going to have WrestleMania implications.
According to F4WOnline.com, Daniel Bryan is expected to be added to the Universal Title match between Roman Reigns and Edge which was previously announced for WrestleMania 37. This comes after Edge attacked Bryan during the main event of Fastlane, despite Reigns tapping out while in Bryan’s YES Lock. According to Fightful.com, this has been the plan for over a month now.
It was a wild match. Check out how we got here and the match itself:
Opinion: I’m not sure how much of a secret this is as Bryan has been moving towards the WrestleMania main event for a long time now. At the end of the day, this is the story that they have been telling and it makes for a better way to go. Edge vs. Reigns is not the most interesting story, but adding Bryan into the mix might be just what the story is calling for. At least hopefully that is the case.
