He has a future. There are a lot of talented stars on the WWE roster and it can be easy for some of them to get lost in the shuffle. At the same time, it can be difficult for someone to stand out, but talent has a tendency to rise to the top. You know a star when you see one and now another star has let us know some things about their current contract status, as well as their future.

WWE’s Kevin Owens appeared on the Ringer Wrestling Show podcast and discussed his current contract status with the company. Owens revealed that he has two years left on his current deal and he cannot see a reason to not re-sign when his deal is up. He did say “who knows what can happen”, before going on to say he wants to keep having fun and putting out memorable stuff. Owens debuted with WWE in 2014 and main evented Night One of WrestleMania 38 against Steve Austin earlier this year.

Opinion: When you think about it, Owens has had one of the more remarkable WWE careers in recent memory. He has won all kinds of titles, but he was also good enough to be the person Austin agreed to face for his first match in nineteen years. That is some pretty high praise and a good example of shattering the glass ceiling in WWE. If Owens can make it work, so could someone else, and that is a good example to see.
