He’s around. There are all kinds of people who work together to present a wrestling event and some of them are never seen on camera, at least not in their current roles. These people are occasionally former wrestlers who use their expertise to make a wrestling show better. There had been rumors of one former WWE star working in such a capacity elsewhere and now we know more about it.

Earlier this year, a report emerged that former WWE Superstar and coach Scott Garland, better known as Scotty 2 Hotty, was working for AEW as a coach/producer. During a recent appearance on the Wrestling With Johners podcast, Garland confirmed that he was working for AEW. He also said that he expected to increase his workload with the company beginning next year.

Opinion: This is one of those things that makes all the sense in the world as Garland is someone who can offer quite a few things to AEW> He is a veteran with all kinds of experience both in the ring and behind the scenes, which is more than a good number of wrestlers can offer. Garland can help bring a different perspective to AEW and that is certainly a good idea.
