What Happened Before And After SmackDown Live?

After everything was over, the Man came around. Mondays and Tuesdays are long nights for WWE. With three hours of Monday Night Raw on Monday and a two hour SmackDown Live plus an hour of 205 Live on Tuesday, both nights are rather long. That’s not all there is to it though, as you have a dark match both before and after the Tuesday tapings began, and that was the case again this week.

There was a pair of dark matches on Tuesday night with one each before and after the show. According to Wrestlinginc.com, Ricochet and Aleister Black defeated Sanity before the show went on the air. After the shows were over, Becky Lynch made Lana tap to the Disarm-Her. Sanity, Lynch and Lana had all appeared on the show while Ricochet and Black also won a match the night before on Monday Night Raw.

Opinion: This was about all you could ask for from dark matches and it makes sense to have Lynch show up for a match, even if it’s just a quick one against Lana. You can only do so much under these circumstances and they seemed to have done well enough. Ricochet and Black are a great choice to set up the show as well, making this about as good of a pair of matches as you could have had.
