All hands on deck. For the first time in decades, WWE is not under the ownership of the McMahon family. The company has officially been sold to Endeavor and merged with UFC to form the TKO Group. This has already resulted in a variety of changes, including a series of firings last week. As a result, something positive is needed and now the company is trying to do just that.

According to PWInsider.com, a meeting was held at WWE’s Stamford, Connecticut headquarters this week. Vince McMahon, WWE President Nick Khan and TKO CEO Ari Emanuel all spoke at the meeting, which lasted about fifteen minutes. Opinion: After last week’s huge group of firings, this is the kind of thing that almost has to be done. If nothing else, just for the sake of having everyone see the people in charge and make it feel like things are calm again. At the end of the day, there is going to be a transitional period and that is going to cause a lot of trouble. That isn’t always a good thing, and now hopefully things are calming down.
