Hand them over! Title changes can be a huge moment for everyone involved. On the one hand, you have a new champion (or champions) as they are moving up the ladder and into a new chapter in their careers. At the same time, someone has lost their belts and that means things can go badly in a hurry. This week, things went badly with the loss but also after the match was over.

Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez won the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles this week on Monday Night Raw, defeating Trish Stratus and Becky Lynch. Stratus was replacing an injured Lita, who had been attacked backstage earlier in the day. Following the loss, Stratus attacked Lynch with no explanation. There was no word on if Stratus was the one to attack Lita.

Opinion: Once Lita was attacked, the story made all the sense in the world, even if Stratus lost the fall without incident. What matters is having the titles off of the thrown together Lynch and Lita, who never seemed like long term champions anyway. Move on to Morgan and Rodriguez, who can act as regular champions, while Stratus and Lynch can have what should be a pretty big time feud.
What do you think of the title change? How will Lynch vs. Stratus go? Let us know in the comments below.
